It has officially been one week since my journey to the United States began. I feel like so much has happened in just one week.
One of the most memorable events of this week was our trip to Kings Island. It’s an amusement park located in Columbus, 3 hours far from Athens. Before going I asked my roommate which attractions were her favorites and in back she sent me a list. She told me how amazing they are, and it made me so excited for it.
Arriving at Kings Island, me and my friends instantly went to find our first ride, Viking Fury. It was perfect for warm-up for us because our next ride was The Diamondback, one of the rollercoasters that my roommate recommended to me. It was really high in a way that I could see the whole park from the top. Then we tried Orion. My friend on my side was so scared that she couldn’t say any word and make any expression.
The last attraction that we decided to go was bumper cars. It was so exciting that we went twice. For me it was so difficult because of the children that don’t have the ability at direction.
One thing that was interesting is that it doesn’t have places at every attraction to buy your stuff. Also, they never asked me to take off my glasses. That showed how flexible they are about regulations.
